About Jasmine
Jasmine

She had her kittens under a neighbor's patio.  Four kittens.  They were approximately six weeks old when  Jasmine was trapped by officers of the  Petaluma Animal Shelter.  She was bailed out by the good neighbor and I agreed to take her and train her to a home environment and get her to have faith in humans.

Et voilà!

Jasmine probably started life in a home and was probably abandoned very young where she was forced to survive on the streets of Petaluma.  She is approximately two years old.

After being trapped by the Petaluma Animal Shelter and I agreed to take her into my home and Jasmine has done wonderfully.  She is a great pet although still shy with visitors.

She also gets along well with my dog.  In the morning after her walk, I give Nika (my dog) cottage cheese and a cookie for breakfast.  While Nika eats her cottage cheese, Jasmine is rubbing head with Nika, munching on Nika's cookies.

Jasmine is now an indoor only cat and she seems very happy about it.  When I agreed to take Jasmine my intentions were to find a home for her, and I grew attached to her.

Unfortunately, I live in a senior mobile home park here in Petaluma and after nearly five years having Nika with me three or four days a week, ( I share her custody) the new park management is pressuring me to get rid of Nika and I fear that Jasmine will be next.

Jasmine loves attention.  She likes to be brushed specially the sides of her face and under the chin and neck.  She has been spayed, tested negative for feline leukemia and current on all her shots.

I am offering Jasmine for adoption to someone who will give her a chance to make herself at home and get to know you before asking her to respond to you.  Please give her a chance to live.

She is a wonderful comapnion.

Nika is an old lady and she does not always appreciate Jasmine's attempts to play.

Jasmine at the table

Jasmine is a well behaved companion.  Here, she sits across from me at the breakfast bar, but she never gets on the bar.
