Frogboy Theatre Notes

Frogboy (AKA Tim Hayes) has been performing on the stage since he was a young child in Dayton, Ohio. Some of his favorite roles include Renfroe in Criminal Minds, Uncle Peck in How I Learned To Drive, Teddy in Faith Healer, the title role in KING LEAR, Freddie in Good, Eddie in Entertaining Mr. Sloan, Lou in The Speed of Darkness, Dr. Miranda in Death and the Maiden and in perhaps his favorite role of all, Eeyore in Winnie the Pooh, a Birthday Tail. He has also appeared in The Music of Harry Chapin, That Championship Season, God's Country, Hamlet, One Flew Over the Cukoo's Nest, and many others. Recently he directed The House of Yes (review, director's notes) and Kindertransport. In the feature film Mumford, from Touchstone Pictures, he appeared as the prosecutor. Locally he has worked with Sonoma County Repertory Theatre, Main Street Theatre, Sonoma Vintage Theatre, Western Union Stage Company, Actors' Theatre and Actors' Theatre for Children. Tim is currently delighted to be the director of Theater for Young Audiences at Sonoma County Repertory in Sebastopol, CA.
