- Born: Nov. 9, 1917, Johnson City, New York. (Now Deceased.)

- Occupation:
Entertainer - Singer. Dad's Errol Garner style piano accompaniment was "The Band", and he also sang harmony parts to Mom's leads. Dad was the straight man for all the jokes & Mom got all the punch lines. Sorta like Burns & Allen, except Mom wasn't playing an "airhead."
|
- Career: Chuck Palmer started his music career as a Clarinet player with his own band playing around upstate New York. He met Phyllis at a concert he was attending where she was the guest singer with the band. They got married, Chuck went into the service for two years, got out and began performing with Phyllis. For the next 37 years, Chuck & Phyllis Palmer were a well known act in the Chicago supperclub circuit. My Dad was truly my "Hero." Rest his soul.
