- Career: Mom & Dad were a duet (like Steve & Edie Gormet) for 37 years, at which time Phyllis succumbed to cancer in 1974 at the age of 57, God rest her soul. I loved my Mom, and she loved me. I was very lucky. Thank's Mom. I Love You.
