Macintosh OS 10 (Early Versions) DNS Settings

Note: These instructions apply to early versions of OS 10. If you have a newer version of OS 10 (such as OS 10.3), please use these instructions instead.
  1. From the Apple menu in the upper left corner, select System Preferences.

  2. Click on the Network icon.

  3. Click on the TCP/IP tab.

  4. Verify that Configure: is set to Using PPP.

  5. Clear any entries in the Domain Name Servers and Search Domains fields.

  6. Click Apply Now and close the Network window.

  7. Shut down and restart your computer.
