Windows XP DNS Server Changes
- Click on the Start menu and select Control Panel.
- Click on Network and Internet Connections.
- Click on Network Connections in the lower right corner of the window. (Network Connections is found under the heading or pick a Control Panel icon, as shown below)
- Click on the icon for SVN with your right mouse button and select Properties from the menu that appears.
- Click on the Networking tab.
- Click once on Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) so that it becomes highlighted.
- Click on the Properties button.
- Click on Obtain DNS server address automatically. The boxes for Preferred and Alternate DNS servers should now be grayed out, as shown below.
- Click OK to close the Internet Protocol Properties box, and then click OK again to close the SVN Properties box.
- Shut down and restart your computer.
- You have now updated your DNS server information.
