Open Transport PPP Configuration
- Make sure Open Transport and OT PPP are installed on your computer. Refer to your original system software guide for more information. If you need to install either of these, restart your computer after doing so.
- Refer to the images that accompany the instructions. If any of the images are not identical to your screen, enter the information in the corresponding fields.
- When closing a window, if you are asked to save any information, do so.
- Select the TCP/IP control panel from the control panels list.
- Click on Connect via:, select PPP
- Click on Configure:, select Using PPP Server
- In the Starting domain name: field, enter svn.net
- In the Name Server addr.: field, enter 64.40.160.10 and 64.40.160.15
- Close TCP/IP window.
- Select the PPP (Remote Access on newer Macs) control panel from the control panels list.
- In the Name: field, enter your username.
- In the Password: field, enter your password.
- In the Number: field, enter the local dial-up number. If you have Call Waiting, enter *70, before this number.
- Close the PPP window.
- Select the Modem control panel from the control panels list.
- Click on Connect via:, select your modem connection method. This is Modem port for most computers.
- Click on Modem:, select your modem or something compatible.
- Close the Modem window.
- Restart your computer.
- Select the PPP control panel from the control panels list.
- Click Connect to dial and connect.
