Mac OS 10 (Later Versions) Configuration
- From the Apple menu, select System Preferences and then click on Network.
- Click on PPP.
- In the Service Provider: box, type in SVN.
- In the Account Name: box, type in your SVN username. (This is the first part of your e-mail address, before the @ sign)
- In the Password: box, type in your password.
- In the Telephone Number: box, type in your local dial-up phone number. A list of our dial-up numbers can be found here.
- If you want to save your password so that you don't have to enter it every time you connect, check the Save password box.
- Click on the PPP Options button.
- Check the following boxes: Connect automatically when needed, Disconnect when user logs out, Redial if busy, Send PPP echo packets, Use TCP header compression.
- Uncheck all other boxes and click OK.
- Click on the TCP/IP button.
- Verify that Configure IPv4 is set to Using PPP.
- Leave all other boxes blank. (If data is currently filled in these boxes, delete it.)
- Click on the Apply Now button and then close the Network window.
- Your Mac is now configured to dial-up and connect to the Internet.
