Mac OS 10 (Later Versions) Configuration

  1. From the Apple menu, select System Preferences and then click on Network.

  2. Click on PPP.

  3. In the Service Provider: box, type in SVN.

  4. In the Account Name: box, type in your SVN username. (This is the first part of your e-mail address, before the @ sign)

  5. In the Password: box, type in your password.

  6. In the Telephone Number: box, type in your local dial-up phone number. A list of our dial-up numbers can be found here.

  7. If you want to save your password so that you don't have to enter it every time you connect, check the Save password box.

  8. Click on the PPP Options button.

  9. Check the following boxes: Connect automatically when needed, Disconnect when user logs out, Redial if busy, Send PPP echo packets, Use TCP header compression.

  10. Uncheck all other boxes and click OK.

  11. Click on the TCP/IP button.

  12. Verify that Configure IPv4 is set to Using PPP.

  13. Leave all other boxes blank. (If data is currently filled in these boxes, delete it.)

  14. Click on the Apply Now button and then close the Network window.

  15. Your Mac is now configured to dial-up and connect to the Internet.
