Windows Vista Configuration

  1. Click on the Start button.

  2. Click on Control Panel.

  3. Click on Network and Internet, and then Network and Sharing Center.

  4. Click on Set up a connection or network.

  5. Click on Set up a dial-up connection and then click Next, as shown below.

  6. A list of modems will appear (although there will likely only be one). Make sure your modem is selected and then click Next.

  7. The following window will appear:

  8. In the Dial-up phone number: box, enter your local dial-up phone number (for a list of local dial-up numbers, click here).

  9. In the User name: box, enter your SVN username.

  10. In the Password: box, enter your SVN password.

  11. Click in the checkbox next to Remember this password if you do not want to enter your password each time you connect.

  12. In the Connection name: box, enter SVN.

  13. When finished, click on the Connect button to establish a connection.

  14. You have now configured your dial-up connection.
