Advanced Scuba Diver

The NAUI Advanced Scuba Diver is a Mid-level continuing education program for scuba divers who have a NAUI Scuba Diver certification or have equivalent training from a nationally recognized agency. Advanced is design to increase diving enjoyment by enhancing knowledge and skills through experience, dive briefing and advanced diving activities.

This fun and exciting program includes seven dives on the Northern California coast. While exploring the underwater world, Advanced Scuba Diver students will master navigation, basic scuba rescue diver skills, search and recovery, deep diving, night diving, boat or kayak diving and hunting or collecting.

Prerequisites
  • At least 15 years of age
  • Certified Scuba Diver

  • Basic scuba gear
  • Alternate air source
  • Compass
  • Depth gauge
  • Primary And alternate light
  • Light stick or tank marker light
  • NAUI dive tables
  • Logbook
