NAUI Master Scuba Diver

Master


The NAUI Master Scuba Diver is recognized as the most comprehensive and challenging advanced education program available to recreational scuba divers. With in depth study of diving related physics, physiology, equipment, decompression, and advanced diving activities. The NAUI Master Scuba Diver program will help refine basic diving skills and master advanced skills while diving in new locations in a variety of conditions. Our activities will consist of 12 dives covering basic and advanced snorkeling and diving skills such as high altitude, boat diving, deep diving, freshwater, diving rescue, light salvage, night diving, navigation, hunting, and kayak diving. At diving locations such as Lake Tahoe, Sonoma Coast, and boat diveing in Monterey or Carmel.

Prerequisites
  • NAUI Scuba Diver or equivalent
  • NAUI Advanced certification or equivalent
  • At least 15 years of age

Equipment Required

  • Basic scuba equipment
  • Alternate air source
  • Timing device, depth and pressure gauge
  • Compass
  • Dive knife
  • Dive light, backup light and light sticks
  • Altitude calculator and pocket calculator
  • NAUI dive tables and log book

Camping Optional

For D.L. Bliss State Park, Lake Tahoe reservations
can be made by calling (800) 444-7275.
California Campground Reservations
Camping may be available at Veterans Memorial Park
in Monterey on a first come first serve basis.
