What does the Directory Creator Tool do?

The Directory Creator Tool allows you to create the proper document directories on our servers to store your Web Pages and/or Public FTP Documents. These options are not available on POP-Only E-Mail boxes.

How do I use it?

Enter your user name on the User Name: line.

Enter your password on the Password: line.

If you want to create your WWW directory, select WWW. If you want to create your FTP directory, select FTP.

What is a WWW Directory for?

A WWW Directory allows you to put your on web page on the internet for anyone to see. Your web address will be http://www.svn.net/yourname.

What is an FTP Directory for?

An FTP Directory allows you to put files on our anonymous FTP server for people to download. The advantage of using your FTP space for files instead of your WWW space is that someone does not need a full web browser to download your files. The only need a simple FTP client.
